What globalization should mean

Take a look at the website There is a link on the blogroll. Kiva is an organization that helps individuals in countries all over the world through micro-loans. My wife and I have participated and loaned money to people in Cambodia, Guatemala, Kenya, and Tajikistan. Our first loan has been paid back 100%. The site is easy to use, and helps people in troubled spots all over the world. Then these people do not have to rely on corrupt governments and weak banking systems, not to mention the usury in these countries that is associated with lending through the black market.
